Biography:
Franz Porzsolt, MD, PhD, is a clinical researcher and founder of the Private Research Institute Clinical Economics, Germany. He trained at Philipps University Marburg and held senior positions in Hematology and Medical Oncology at the University Hospital Ulm, where he also served as Scientific Secretary of the Comprehensive Cancer Center. A grantee of the German Research Association (DFG), he has held visiting professorships at the Mayo Clinic (USA) and multiple Brazilian universities, and has served as a reviewer for the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). Since his retirement in 2011, he has continued independent research in clinical economics.
