Biography:
Dr. William Simmons received a B.S. degree in Chemistry from Wittenberg University in Springfield Ohio. and an M.S. degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry from Bowling Green State University. He received the Ph.D. in Physiology and Biophysics at the University of Illinois Chicago Medical Center. He is currently a Professor Emeritus at Loyola University Chicago in the Department of Molecular Pharmacology and Neuroscience in the Stritch School of Medicine.
